Mediation

Mediation is a process in which a third party neutral (the mediator) helps conflicting parties resolve their dispute. KCMC provides mediation services for various contexts including family, workplace, and community.

Intrafamilial Mediation

Families can experience significant disagreement for which counselling or therapy may not be indicated or preferred.  It may involve an important decision over which consensus is required but proving difficult to achieve.  The mediator's neutral perspective along with consensus-building strategies can help family members move from competing positions to enhanced clarity regarding mutual interests and agreement.
